P1 offering comes in a variety of choices that address basic document management and archival, collaboration dashboard and customer relationship management. P1.a is the basic product that provides a web based centralized document repository with access rights. P1.b evolves on top of this to provide a communication and collaboration dashboard for the portal users.
P1.crm on the other hand is a more specific product to address customer relationship management requirements that companies often lack when dealing with projects. P1.crm covers aspects of the issue from lead generation and customer activity tracking to project management and billing, which also works as a general ledger.
All three versions are installed on-site and can be deployed on a modest PC based computer. Operating system can be either one of Linux or Microsoft Windows while the server components are open source Apache Tomcat and MySQL. Installation takes a mere ten minutes while initial configuration takes no more than an hour.
P1 family of products can handle daily high loads due to the structure of the software and underlying technology, but customization options are limited. This is only because it is intended to be that way to be able to provide a robust out of the box functionality where most organizations require for daily operations.
